I like to build guitars. I started out working with broken guitars and old parts and moved up to buying stuff from the factory. Painting them is fun. If you don't like it, you can just paint over it and try again.
How many guitars can you build? How many do you need? What do you do with them? In the end, it's about finding a sound you love and holding on to something you made yourself.
